They’re hung for witchcraft but come back to life in the 90s when a virgin lights the black flame candle and they all run amuck, amuck, amuck around the town. If you’ve never seen Hocus Pocus, in which case we probably can’t be friends anymore and I seriously don’t know what you’re doing with your life, it’s about the 3 Sanderson Sisters who turn a boy named Thackery (took me until I was 21 to realize it wasn’t pronounced “ Zachary”) into a black cat and eat children so they will be young and beautiful forever. Nightmare Before Christmas is also high on the list but it has two holidays in it and I associate it more with Christmas than Halloween. Arguably the best Halloween movie in existence is Hocus Pocus and I have it on repeat the whole month of October. While I may have started listening to Christmas music today (no judgements, mkay?) I am still in a Halloween-y spirit.
